YorChoice Drop-In Sessions

The young people's mental health drop in is open for anyone aged 14-21 (up to 25 for those with SEND). If you are thinking “My issues aren’t serious enough”, the drop in is here to support you to be proactive and prevent things from getting worse.

Yormind & Chat Chit Podcast

The Yormind website has come about because unfortunately too many people suffer with their mental health. This website is here to talk to you about mental health and it’s all for under 25’s in York.

York Mind's range of services help individuals recovering from a variety of mental health conditions.

York Mind is a leading local provider helping people recovering from mental health challenges. We support individuals' journeys toward recovery, social inclusion, and integration in activities like learning or employment.

We believe that the condition does not define the individual. Therefore, we campaign to raise awareness and combat the stigma surrounding mental health conditions. York Mind aims to be inclusive and accessible, emphasising an acceptance our clients’ beliefs and wishes.

Our services support adults and young people to speak to us about their lives as a whole

Through one-to-one and group based support, we help adults and young people to build independence in coping with mental health struggles.   Our services are confidential and prioritises listening to adults and young people, shaping the support to fit their needs wherever possible.
